Nightjars, Potoos, Frogmouths and Relatives
The nightjars and their relatives: potoos, frogmouths, oilbirds and owlet-nightjars make up a funny looking group of semi-owl-looking medium size birds. They are a mostly nocturnal group so they all have big eyes. They are somewhat spread out geographically living in Southeast Asia, Australia, as well as Central and South America.
